ONDE ESTÃO AS FEMINISTAS? Líder de grupo islâmico ordena mutilação genital em mulheres
O líder do grupo jihadista Estado Islâmico (EI), Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, ordenou a prática da mutilação genital nas mulheres do califado muçulmano proclamado por sua organização, segundo um comunicado de seu organismo legal na província síria de Aleppo.
Na nota, publicada na internet, a Comissão da Legitimidade em Aleppo explica que a ordem “é de cumprimento obrigatório em todas as cidades e regiões”, sob controle dos extremistas.
O EI justifica a medida por seu empenho em “cuidar” da sociedade muçulmana e evitar “a expansão da libertinagem e da imoralidade” entre as mulheres.
Para isso, exige que se pratique a mutilação genital das mulheres como – diz – “se fazia antigamente na cidade sagrada saudita de Medina”.
O texto deu como exemplo um “hadiz” (dito) do profeta Maomé que narra um encontro que teve um dia com uma mulher que se queixou de que sofreu a ablação e ele lhe respondeu que era bom para ela.
O comunicado do EI, cuja autenticidade não pôde ser comprovada, data de 11 de julho e informa que é da Comissão Legal do Estado Islâmico do Iraque e o Levante, como a organização se chamava antes.
O grupo reduziu seu nome no final de junho quando proclamou um “califado” no Iraque e na Síria, após ter conseguido avançar tanto em território sírio como em iraquiano.
